Ali bit her lip in concentration. She was actually winning the game, much to the guys' disappointment, she carefully tapped the ball, easily sending it into the hole, "HA! Two!" she said happily, grinning at Drew.
Drew smiled back, "Good job!" he congratulated her. "Thanks" she smiled, blushing slightly.

Nick and Jeff exchanged looks, Drew had it bad. And so did she. Maybe all they needed was an encouraging push in the right direction. Clearing his throat, Nick stepped up to the hole, "Ok, let the master show you how its done" he said confidently. He swung at the ball, and completely missed the hole. Frowning slightly, he walked over to where it had rolled, and hit it again. The ball still rolled past. One more try, he thought to himself, he really wanted to win this game. He tapped the ball towards the hole. Again it missed, much to Ali's and Drew's delight, "HA!" Jeff laughed.
"Shut up!" Nick ordered, and wacked the ball way too hard, sending it flying into the bushes, hopelessly lost. "DAMNIT!"  "Well, Nick, we'll just say that was six" Justin said, "Sorry, but you're in last place" he continued.
"Gee, thanks a lot" "Its not our fault" Jeff pointed out, "You just suck"
"Its Ali's and Drew's fault. They're cheating" Nick glared at the two.
Ali laughed, "And how exactly are we cheating Nick?" she asked. "I don't know, but you just are" he pouted. "Ignore him" Drew whispered to Ali.
"What?" she asked, Nick was still complaining about his losing the game.
Drew moved closer to her, "I said ignore him. He's just whining" he repeated.   Ali smiled, "I know, my brother does the same thing. You get used to it after a while." she replied in the same hushed tone. Drew and Ali were standing a close together as two people could be without actually touching. Neither of them moved, just looked at one another, each silently hoping the other person would make the next move. Of course, all good things must come to an end. . .

"Come on!" Jeff broke in, "We've only got another hole to play...and we all know I'm gonna win" Drew blinked and quickly stepped away from her, wishing he had the guts to just ask her. This was quickly getting out of hand. He was acting like he was in high school or something. Whatever happened to his self-confidence? he wondered, automatically moving to the next hole. He knew the answer to his question, it had disappeared the moment she'd introduced herself.

"I thought Nick was going to start crying when you won" Drew laughed, "Little Miss PGA here" he teased. "Its all in the wrist. I should tell him that, you can't win if you hit the ball as hard as you can" she laughed with him as they walked back to her hotel room.
"No, and its not good to lose all the balls either"
"Or throw the club in the bushes"
"Ali?" Drew asked, as she unlocked the door to her room.
              "Yeah?"
"What are you doing tomorrow night?"
              "Nothing, why?" she asked.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go to dinner with me? And maybe see a movie, if you want" he said in a rush, and held his breath for her response.
"I'd love to!" she said happily, an evening with Drew...very very nice.
"Really? I mean, great! I'll pick you up around 6:30? Is that all right?" he said eagerly. Ali beamed at him, "That's perfect. And thanks for inviting me to tag along with you and the other guys" she said.
"Thanks for agreeing, you're a brave woman"
"I'll see you tomorrow" she said softly, knowing she'd have to ransack her wardrobe finding something to wear for her date with Drew.
"Yeah" he agreed, "We're shooting our part of the video tomorrow morning, right?" Ali nodded, "Yep, its a long day for me, I get to shoot all the scenes with everyone tomorrow, weather permitting"
Worry shone in Drew's eyes, "Are you sure you want to go out with me tomorrow? We can just put it off until another day" Ali stepped closer to him, "Drew, I'm looking forward to tomorrow"
"Me too" he said, not wanting to break the spell."
Ali took a deep breath and another step towards him and gently kissed him on the cheek, "See ya" she said softly, walking into her room.
Drew looked after her for a moment, then sprinted to his own room.
